Hi Gerald
I know that MechMate calls for #3 size v-rollers to match the 1/4" angle hand-made rails. I am in the process of pricing ready-made rollers and rails from Superior Bearing in Ohio. I think I would prefer them over the softer hand-made rails (more durable, less construction time).
I noticed that they have a size #4 available. Specs for rollers are : size#4 - OD=2.36" W=.75" , BORE=.5906" // size#3 - OD=1.803", W=.625" , BORE=.4724"
size 4-
As of yet, I don't know how much more they cost over the # 3 size. I will call tomorrow. If either #3 or #4 are reasonably priced. Will the #4 size throw off the other measurements?
Thanks
Paul
