The earlier table plans required the x-rails to sit on spacers with the result that there is gap under the x-rail to the main table beam. The result is that the cutter can throw debris directly at the x-axis rack. We actually seized stepper motor bearings from dust ingress. The mod is to put deflector plates (lighter blue) over the gap:
