FreeShip!!!
Hi, I`ve seen many boatbuilders around.
I`ve found this free 3d software which may help a lot. http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeship Merry Christmas and happy Holydays. |

This is a cool program - really sophisticated. I've found that Carlson's hull program is a little more user-friendly and suited for flat panel development.

I'll second Freeship. I own Multisurf, which is a fabulous program, but Freeship is a couple of thousand dollars cheaper. If you are looking to design a boat and you want access to hydrostatics, then this is a good way to go.

The freeship engine is built into Delftship. They have a commercial version, but the free one is quite good.
(I haven't yet tried to cut any panels from it) www.delftship.net |
