Just the latest in a long line of newbie checkins. Looking forward to building a CNC.

My experience is quite varried. I worked as a machinist for about 20 years, and then due to a manufacturing shift, I got into IT for the past 15 years. I am sure that I can tackle this thing. Just thought I would join in to get some ideas and shorten the learning curve a bit.

Any suggestions to help me convince my wife that I need another project...and yes, I have used the excuse that "I can make money with it."
