SE2D is now free to everyone, even commercial users. I could not find any scam or "upgrade to get these features turned on" traps. Take a look:
http://www.solidedge.com/free2d/default.htm Their email is considered spam by hotmail, so your "license email" will be in your junk folder. Enjoy.
