Hello all from Minnesota
I am completely facinated with computer controlled devices and want to build something that actually does something useful. It will take a while to get all of the funds but this looks like the place to be. I have access to used stepper motors so maybe I can get off a little cheaper there - although it may be difficult to find motors large enough.
