Router Speed/RPM Control
Has anyone had any success or where to start on controlling the routers spindle speed via mach 3 control? What are most people doing? Are people just adjusting the speed manually on the fly or with a simple inline Potentiometer made for routers? It would be handy be able to use this funtion.
Thanks, Travis |

Irfan, I think that thread only addresses ON/OFF and not variable speed control?

Interesting find Irfan!
Thanks for the link! Looks like it would will work up to 2.5hp or 1800 watt routers. I'll read up on it and see how promising it looks. |

Travis if budget is not so very a constraint I would strongly suggest a 1.5KW chinese spindle with a 1.5KW Delta VFD, both put together would cost approx 600USD, and another 100 for water cooling maybe!
my best to you. RGDS Irfan |
