I figured as much. The disclaimer is more there in case I find any of my stuff on a competitors website. I've had pics of completed basement jobs show up all over the net with others claiming credit for the work.
Good Luck!!

It didn't seem to be obvious at 1st glance, but the extruded cross channels seems a good idea now.

Well it was a sort of interview with Simone Cicecero ( http://2013.frontiersofinteraction.c...simone-cicero/ ). He wrote then the article as you see .... I just gave him the story ... :-), hope Mike and Gerald do not mind ... :-)

Very nice article. My BIL visited the shop last month and asked where I got my MM.
When I told him I built it from plans on the net, his response?

"Why can you never give me an honest answer? That's too nice to be home made"

Good article.

Darren, I had the same response when a friend came over to see my machine a few weeks back. It took him little bit to understand that I had built it and not bought it.

The 2nd European Maker Faire is starting this weekend here in Rome .... the MechMate will be present in the FabLab area ... The base table I made last year was incredibly thrown away this summer
Thanks to SpqWork FabLab we made a new base in a very short of time, hopefully they were starting their build and they alredy had all the metal ready ....
Tomorrow morning I will mount and test the machine that will use the moving parts of my Mechmate ... I am a bit overloaded :-) but as soon I am sure everything is working I will breath and post some pictures ...
oh I forgot to say ... SpqWork Fablab decided to paint their base RED Ferrari .... so at the maker faire we will have a two color MechMate

Nice work ! Are you also the one who made the game ball maze/labyrinth that two kids can carry on their neck I saw somewhere ? If so are you willing to share that file, I want to make some toys with the MM and that looked cool.
