Parts recycling

Guess what it is....

SNC01029.jpg

I didn`t use the Upper Strut bracket ( 10 40 372 ) in its original place due to some changes I made.
Instead it can be used at the motor mount for fixing the spring tensioner.

The same I did with Z Spring Anchor ( 10 40 386 ) bent to 90 degree so it fits perfectly to the spring tensioner.

Its a good way recycling parts.

I have always wondered about the springs. Really they only need the tooth height as their extension range and use of a turnbuckle will allow a set of preload.

Please keep the mods coming!

For fault-finding and maintenance it is very convenient to be able "unhook" a motor to drop it away from the rack - that is why I have gone with springs that allow a lot of extension, to allow some clearance for the unhooking.
