Bart, if you live in Europe, your 3-phase is about 380 Volt if measured Live to Live (Δ) and 230 Volt if measured Live to Neutral (Y). The typical VFD is for Δ connection only and allows the connection of 3 Live wires (no Neutral).

Please check with the supplier, but I believe you will not be able to use that VFD for a standard 3-phase situation in Europe.

Thanks to everyone for the info on the connection of the frequency drive. Glad to hear that Irfan and Vishnu are using this setup without problems.

Gerald,

You are right about the supply net in Europe. In Belgium 1 fase 230 Volt is common for domestic use and 3 fase 400 Volt for industrial use.
At home I have however an old net of 3 fase 127Volt/230Volt so I have 127 volt between neutral and fase and 230 Volt between the fases. This is not very common but it still exists in some areas.
