Great work on Auto Zero tool. :-)
I have one question I could not find thr answer myself, I use a laser cross-hair pointer to set the X-Y workpiece start point. In Mach3 I added a button and two display to store the X and Y offsets from the mill.
Is there a way to do the same on your screenset ?
thanks
Sergio

In the Mach3 2010 Screen, or the UCCNC 2017 screen?

Yes, the built in screen editor is easy to use, and the macro language is similar.
The issue is where do you put it.
I can give you some more info later.

You could use a simple macro like this, with the offset values in the macro.
Put it in your profile macros folder.
You can call it with M20220 in MDI, or add a button, and use 20220 for the button number.

Quite nicely. They are steadily adding new features.
The latest test release added G41/G42 compensation, but it's going to need a bit of testing still.

The only thing missing is better rotary axis support.

And they have future plans to implement S Curve acceleration, which is really nice on high speed machines, as they'll run a lot smoother.

Hey Ger. I need to make the step and move on from Mach3. I see CNCDrive purchased UCCNC. Has it resulted in a lock down of their software as far as screen modding? Would be nice to have a US based vendor but I have purchased other items form overseas within problems. I was going to also get their eth400 controller.
