Blower Question
OK - I have this unit hooked to my plasma exhaust http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/7H138
Piped into my table like this (Had a link out but though better for those not on the zone ...) Can I damper off this unit an put a cyclone base plumbed into this blower, or would it be easier to just add a second motor? Last edited by MetalHead; Sat 01 August 2009 at 06:57.. Did you tried read up bill pentz's site & use his design spread sheet? If not, now is the time.

I agree with Ken. Bill's site is a long read but it is the most 'correct answer' I have run into, and explained in a way even I can understand.

Hi. I have built from Bill's plans and use mine for dust collection. If you are just exhausting smoke and fumes from the plasma table them a cyclone is a waste of time and effort.
