Noob here looking at first build

Hi Guys,

Just found this forum so I decided to join. I would like to build a router or a router/plasma set-up on the cheap, but I will not compromise quality. I am a good welder and have access to machine tools, through friends and school. My desire is to build a 4'x4' rig then see what kind of profit I can generate before going bigger. I have a lot of questions so bear with me.

Cheers,

RJ

If you can weld and have some machine access, you are all set.

Brush up on the software side.

Also note that the difference in cost between a 4x4 and a 4x8' machine is maybe $400.

Welcome aboard!
Best reading in the beginning is reading a bunch of the larger build threads. You can get a good sense of the work involved from them.
