There is a redundancy in the parts listed above. You should read the descriptions at the cvsupply site before you order.

Good luck on the build!
Roger
Rail Grinding Skate
This is not needed if you bought the MechMate Basic Laser Cut Parts set above.

Myousry, thanks for your detailed parts list, I used it to learn whats needed for the ensto breakers, I think you missed:
ENSTO Rotary Load Break Disconnect Switch, Door Mount Kit / $9.00 / http://www.factorymation.com/s.nl/it.A/id.5831/.f it goes on the backside of the control box door. Check this datasheet for complete aasembly: http://factorymation.info/Disconnects/ensto_ksrd3.pdf

Im looking for a similar part available in the local market, but if I fail I'll go with ensto.

Looks like another damaged part... Is this typical for Egypt? Still, I don't think it would be too difficult to fix.

NEED HELP for overvoltage monitoring relay

hi guys,
i bought this voltage monitoring relay as there is an over voltage situation in egypt happens i.e you may find a 380V in a 220V power line because of a stupid electrical engineer . the link for relay
http://www.hiquel.com/en/machine-aut...e-control.html
i have changed the 35amps contactor with a 50 amps. i going to let the relay to control the coil of the replaced contactor in case of an overvoltage or undervoltage case took place. the problem that i face is that the coil of the relay needs to have an isolated AC 220V power source .
i intend to buy a UPS for the PC that will run the machine and to power the coil of the relay.
can any UPS take the 380V without being barbecued ??? thanks a lot

Are you certain about the Engineering? Are the power lines overhead as many in the US are? Could the problem be from Voltage spikes?
A voltage spike is defined as fast short duration electrical transients in voltage. All electronic and electrical devices are designed to operate within a certain voltage power supply, which is normally written on the product sheet/manual or on the device itself. Voltage spikes can damage these devices. One of the more common types of damage that can be seen is when a bulb is given a supply of power higher than its voltage rate, causing a burn out of its wire or even causing it to burst into flames if there is an over-voltage.

Voltage spikes can happen through natural causes, such as lightning strikes, solar wind and solar flares. A surge in supply within power, phone and signal lines can affect equipment over large areas. A storm that is occurring miles away can induce high voltage spikes in another location. Lightning doesn’t just cause surges when it strikes, lightning between storm clouds can also create magnetic fields that induce surges.

Man-made over-voltage is caused by electromagnetic induction when switching on or off inductive loads (like electric motors or electromagnets). Power outages, tripped circuit breakers, short circuits Electromagnetic Pulses (EMP) with its energy distributed up to 100 kHz in 1 MHz frequency range and inductive spikes. Surges in the power lines can also be generated at the switching station of a local power company. It can also be generated by electrical machinery, appliances and power company operating equipment. Common household equipment can generate 1,000 Volt spikes.

thanks a lot john for your clarification . do you know any UPS that can take the 380V overvolt in order to proctect the pc ,the monitor ,and the coil of the relay
thanks a lot

I am sure they are available. But I recommend being certain where the problem is coming from. Why spend more money than is needed? You may only need a simple surge protection device...
I lived in Florida where storms affected line voltages. An UPS was absolutely necessary because the power lines are mostly overhead and lightning strikes are common. Often the power would be off for an hour or more. But the UPS would give me time to shut down the computer systems until the lights came on again.
But for other equipment, this would not be very cost effective... IMO
That's why I had asked you about your local environment. Dry air is more susceptible to static electricity for example.
Here in Germany, winter air is dry and we need to be careful of static discharge. Most of our power lines are underground so no trouble with lightning. I have not seen a power outage as long as I have been here...

One note on the statics, In my location, I've never encountered static build up (EVER!!!!) until I have my dust collector...
