Newbie from Grahamstown South Africa
Hi Everyone
I am really looking forward to getting to know you guys and hopefully I can also make some sort of useful contribution to the forum. Retirement is knocking on my door and my knowledge of the digital world is limited so please forgive if I ask a stupid question. I am employed as a Civil & Structural and General Construction Resident Engineer. My primary hobby and obsession is rebuilding old Chev Corvairs, very scarce car in South Africa. I am very mechanically minded and am very fortunate to have a well equipt workshop. I do 99% of my work myself and have been into DIY my entire life. The closest I get to digital stuff is AUTOCAD, my PC and the Digital Read Outs on my milling machine and metal lathe. I will lurk and read for a while and see what is out there and then decide my direction/plan of action. I am very glad to see that there are some fellow South Africans on the forum. I look forward to all the advise and say thank you in advance. Regards Henty |
