Need help with rack dimensions :( - Bitola, Macedonia

sorry if is stupud to ask but im very newbie in this

i have here one suplier and making racks 60 sm long ok its not problem i will connect them but suplier ask me how much tooth did i need on 60 sm long racks so please let me know how much tooth will need ?

i was searching on the forum but nothing find and theat why i ask

Ok if you dont understand me i was thinking how much tooth per 60 sm rail

Will your supplier also make the round (circle) gears that will run on the rack?

I ask that question because the round gears must be matched to the rack.

We normally use a "Module 1" rack in a metric country. For 60 centimeter there will be 190.986 teeth.

If your gears are direct on the motor shafts (with no gearboxes), then your gear diameter should be 24 millimeter (at the middle of the teeth) and it will have a quantity of 24 teeth.

IF you do have gearboxes on your motor, then you can increase to 36 millimeter average diameter and quantity 36 teeth.
