What are you hooking it to? Single or 3 phase, 110 or 220?

I was looking to use it for another vacuum system. I have single phase, so I would have to use a converter. It is already wired for 220 3 phase, but the two wires labeled "P" I don't understand.

if it is 3 phase motor and you have a single phase supply you will need an inverter that is capable of single phase input. Depending on the size of the motor will determine the price of the VFD.

That is correct. I have an inverter, but the P/P was confusing me. may be a pilot lamp. thought it might be some kind of a fuse. wasn't sure.

Actually, according to the diagram on page 3 of that PDF, P/P is labelled "Thermal Protector" and appears to be a Normally Closed thermal protection device inside the motor, which presumably goes open if the motor overheats. It is shown wired into the contactor hold in loop along with the Stop switch. The pilot lamp is simply in parallel with the coil of the contactor.
So P/P should normally complete a circuit, and if it opens, you should have the motor stop. |

I think Brad has found the right solution.
