I agree I ordered the kit a month ago and when it came i was really happy with the quality of the parts. Mike really should take a better picture of the kit. This is well worth the cost and gets a newby builder several step down the road. I was also very happy with the accuracy of the fit. When I received the kit I also received the news that my mother was passing away. I loaded the kit into the trunk and headed off to Indianapolis. I arrived just in time to say good bye to my Mom. Back on subject my brother is a fantastic welder. I later met my brother at his shop. He was amazed at the quality of the parts. It took very little jigging to align and start welding. The finished product was ready to be prepped, primed, and painted. Thanks Mike for getting it all started for me. By the way the servo kit and electrical kit I also ordered from Mike was a good deal.

It is a great kit and gets you well on your way to getting your build going. I have that in mind with all the kits and wiring that I have available.

Mike are you selling a servo kit as mentioned above? I only see steppers for sale on your site? Sorry for your loss Hurshy.

Chris,
Nobody that I know of has used a servo system on a MM. Perhaps Hurshy had a typo there? |

typo indeed
Sorry it was a typo, I was working out in the garage and had been bit 52 times by spiders. ouch yes ouch they put me on antibiotics and pain killers. What I meant to say was that I purchased the Basic Control Box and the 4 Motors and power supply set. you will be amazed at the power supply. It is beyond heavy duty. I have just received the shielded cable kit from Metalhead. Mike you need to add this item to your website. Need to open it and start wiring. I have been distracted by my other toys I purchased. Just bought Baileigh BB-4816m magnetic brake and the Baileigh SBR-5216 sheet metal roller, the JD32 tube bender and JD Notchmaster. Need to clear some space in the garage and stay away from the spiders.

Hi Mike,
Just starting to research building a MechMate. I saw you have a lot of the pats and I would like a list with prices so I can see how much money to hid from my wife. LOL I would like to be able to cut at least a 48" x 48" sheet of plywood eith the option to extend it to 48" x 96" later. Thanks Cecil |
