Hey Joe,

Where did you get the white pendent control (shuttle pro wanna-be)?

I am so tired of dropping my shuttle pro and spending a 1/2 hour looking for the little clear plastic caps on the buttons.

I want one.

That is a re-packaged (hacked) shuttle pro.

Ahhh, make your own. Should be easy now that I have a MM (and the education) to fabricate the outter housing.

Greg, here is a few links to help you out. Troy said to use the sealed switches because of the fine dust and they are a little harder to push. Eliminating the lockout switch.
If I can do this, anyone can.

Joe,

Did you find a US distributor of those German switches?

I should have added this Link too.
The hard part is finding the Letraset Lettering. I found mine at a Art Supply Store.

Interesting. Future project. I think I will wait until I drop my shuttle pro and it breaks. Also it will give me time to decided what I really want on it.

The next thing I am going to add will be a wireless USB for it. So I have no cable coming out of the thing. That way I can walk any place and use it but the price of wireless is high right now.

This is one tool that has been worth what I paid for it. It makes it very easy to control the machine and software. I think I need more buttons to control more macros.

Nils,
I would research the wireless thing a little more. I remember seeing a lot of posts at the zone I believe of people having problems with wireless keyboards and mice and Networking. It seems that some cause problems and glitches in the machine when the wireless is working, ruining work and other stuff.

I had serious problems with wireless networking, but I constantly use a wireless gamepad (Logitec RumblePad) operate my machine. The gamepad works perfectly.
