Planning for stepper driver
Now, I understand that most normal CNC require 34 size stepper motor. But at this time I want to use this stepper motor to make a small CNC machine yet. So I have found this circuit to drive this small stepper motor. Now I have 24V, 1.7 Amp power supply adopter and +5VDC logic supply from computer power supply. Now I want to ask that is it a good power supply to connect with this ULN2003 circuit? If not, then which is batter power supply?

Same,
That motor will definitely not work for a Mechmate. Since this site is geared to the building of the Mechmate, you might find more relevant information over at CNC Zone. there are lots of small motor builds there. I would still suggest looking at Phils site, www.pminmo.com for DIY driver info. ![]() |
