nice work. its the second time i see the microwave over the stove, i dont see any stractor or air cleaner on that .. or simply nobody use the stove to cook.. or nobody cares about the smoke and vapors.

Nils, thanks for asking the question.
For whatever reason, I liked the "look" of CPP a little better, but when forced to think seriously to answer your question, I couldn't come up with a single thing I dislike about CabinetPlanner.
So, there it is, I'm off to download CabinetPlanner.

Darren,

I didn't mean to push you in one direction....

I looked at CPP and it does have nice screens. I might try the free version.

You didn't push me anywhere except to quit procrastinating.
I needed to decide in order to get some time behind the wheel before I need to go to work with either program.

I purchased Cabinet Planner the other day. For the price, why not. I'm very surprised at how much it does.

Hi Steve,
I saw your intro post on their forum a couple days ago.
I pulled the trigger, but haven't done much more than register it, and start reading the manual.

Do you know 3d generator cabinet planner? Looks easy to work at the video demonstration. I'm also looking for that kind of software...

Had to spend a Saturday in the shop working on a customer project I'm behind on through no fault of my own....
Thought I'd take a few minutes to toolpath some brackets for a shelf for the shop radio....
Beauty of a MM? No such thing as scrap anymore.

As I alluded to in post #253, I'd like to redo my spraybooth wall to look like an old rusty iron façade.
To get started, I drew up a couple of simple frames to hold a piece of .220 Plexiglass which will become the windows to look into the booth.

These are 12"x18" inside, made of 3/4" MDF scraps and some 1/2" button head plugs.

brackets need a couple more coats of paint, but here they are mocked up on the shelf, which is on its back on the workbench.

Thank you for the compliment Andrew, loks like you'll be starting to create things now...nice job on your MM.
Here is a pic of the first window installed.
All the galvanized metal needs to be patina'd now.

Found this on Craigslist. Going to look at it tomorrow.
For 100 bucks, I can't build one.

I have the new kiosk in the shop and hooked up, and here is my first glitch.
The keyboard doesn't have pageup/pagedown keys which my Mach3 2010 screenset uses to control Z height..... uh oh.

I'm embarrassed to say I forgot setting the pageup/pagedown on the old keyboard using the Hotkeys.
Reset the Z jog to U for up and D for down and all is right with the world.
Can't decide on a coat of MM blue or leave well enough alone.
