Hello from Clarksburg, WV

Merry Christmas to all. I am in the process of building 2 machines. The frist is about 1/4 complete and is my own design that will be a dedicated plasma machine (6' x 5'). The second is a router table (MM) that I plan to do extensive 3D relief cutting on doors and signs. This table will be at a minimum 4' x 8', servo drive, spindle or router to be detrermined.

I am green as grass in knowledge for wood routing in terms of bit selection, roughing, finishing, and most importantly is detailing. I will be primarily using pine, fir, oak, and poplar. Anyone have thoughts to help a newbie taking the right path?
