Hello from Huntsville
So ironically I just learned about this site from
a British forum! I noticed that MetalMike is in Alabama too so I joined up. Now unfortunately I am not planing on building a MechMate as I am just finishing up another DIY CNC build. Just have to wire up some electronics. It is 10x4' (10 1/2 by 52") system. For reference and in general. How much does it cost to build such as a MechMate?

Welcome.
You will spend from 5K to 7.5K average on a MechMate. Some do it for less, some spend more.
