gantry square question
I have the gantry on the rails and seeing if its square. All 4 wheels make contact but in one small area 1 of the four wheels starts to ride up the rail outward..?.
Facing the gantry perpendictular to the beams say number 1 is front left, 2 front right, 3 back left and 4 back right..it would be number 4 thats climbing the rail when the gantry roll toward me....and only in a 2 foot section of my 5'x10'. the front two #1,2 are perfect all the way through the X rails travel. Its only moving about a 16th to 32nd of a inch outward. Any ideas on whats happening? My thought is the X isnt just parrallel yet.?. Just dont want to do something that will mess up my 2 hours of adjustments. Jason |

Logically, your X-rails are not straight.

Ok thanks.....I sure am amazing how easy the gantry rolls on the X rails..a single finger and very little effort will roll it from one end to the other.
thanks Jason |
