The RPM package for Fedora (CentOS and other variants) has several dependencies (libraries) that are not part of a standard Linux install. For CentOS, it is not plug and play, but it looks promising.

(Since my CentOS computers are development systems that I use to develop software for my customers, I won't be adding the required libraries just in case they may cause cross platform issues for me or for my customers.)

I have DraftSight running in my Ubuntu laptop without problems.
As far as I have noticed, all commands are same than in AutoCAD.
On the other hand I'm just novice CAD user.
