Profile cutting with cnc mill?
I was wondering have anyone discussed the possibilty of using a cnc milling machine to cut the profiles? I was wondering why I hadnt seen any post regarding using cnc mills to cut them. I am sure it will require a lot of additional holdown methods but I believe if the parts of similar thickness are nested correctly it should work. Correct?

Of course you can mill the parts, but that would be a lot more expensive than laser cutting........unless your milling is for free!

Yes, I will be milling them myself.

For milling, I would not nest them on sheets.
I would cut blanks and stack them up to mill 2 or 3 at a time where possible. |

yes good idea. This will also maintain rigidity will cutting. I will just have to hand work the small corners with a set og good needle files.

Don't forget that with the laser cut kits, the parts are bent as well.
