"Ecomanufacture" web site

Hello Gerald, Hello friends,

I just would like to present my new web site concerning my Mechmate use in France (with some new furnitures drawings) and a blog concerning :

- Home manufacturing
- Social engeneering (like the Mechmate Network).
- DIY knowledge network.

"Social Engeneering" is a concept of Neil Gershenfeld, MIT Professor who have created the Fab Lab and make a CNC(shopbot)on wheels to run across the US .
See post below in this thread ((http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_fab_lab))

My web adress : www.ecomanufacture.fr (with automatic translation !).

Regards,

Pierre.

It is quite strange to talk about him for me in this forum because i invit him for a conference in my architect school 11 years ago !!.Memories ...

Bye,

Pierre.

Ps: His name is François Roche.

Plywood electric cars plans (to feed the beast).

Hello Gerald, Hello friends,

For those who would like to have very greats plans to cut plywood parts with the Mechmate (and make clever electric cars!).
Have a look to http://buggies.builtforfun.co.uk/index.php

The same DIY spirit than the Mechmate web site but for plywood electric vehicules : a gold mine of knowledge (mechanical + electrical) !!

Have a look,

Regards,

Pierre.

PS : Work on an electric personnal plywood car design for the moment ...

Im still waiting for my registration confirmation on this site, but if it delivers what it promises, it would a great thing for 3D work: http://3dsee.net/Main.aspx

In a nutshell, from a sequence of photos, they can create a 3D CAD model.

Pablo, the file you posted in #45 has expired. If you could post a few images here directly, they wouldn't expire. But do size them to an appropriate size for web posting. I am sure Gerald would appreciate it!

About 15 years ago I made some platters (from plywood) for cocktail parties, as in the last pic. Wish I had a MM then!

The link still works but when you click the download link to download the file in post # 45 I get the follow error

THE FILE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS LINK HAS EXPIRED..

YouSendIt will only keep a file for 7 days or 100 download which ever comes first.

So the only way to get it if Pablo resubmits the file again to YouSendIt and repost the new link.

Regards

Paul

Here you go. If it takes a while to see why this inspires look at the framing picture, anybody care to guess if it was a saw or a cnc router that made all those plywood panels?
