Alternative to Mach3 and Breakout Board using USB
Ran accross this when researching something else... It's a 5 axis controller (no drivers/motor controllers) with all the standard breakout board inputs and outputs. It's priced at $275 USD, $329 Euro. It includes a CNC controller software (like Mach3) along with the hardware, so you are paying about $100 for the hardware. Specs are:
Inputs: Emergency stop 5x End of stroke for homing Probe Handwheel input Pause Run USB (V2.x) from PC/Laptop Outputs: 5x Step / Dir / amplifier enable Emergancy Stop Flood coolant Mist coolant PWM TOOL Direction AUX1 Max step frequency: 75 KHz step frequency, 5 Axes Pulse width 5 uSec and up Others PICstep compatible All IO buffered and filtered Software screen photo: Board photo: http://www.usbcnc.com/index_products.html#cpuv4 |
