Another Ornament - 40"x10" 3D carving

Thanks to our Guru - I did this carving to show in the show case -

took a total of 4 hrs size is 40x10

Great job!

I guess your 40x10 size is in inches?

How much did the material (MDF?) bend after cutting? If we had used local MDF for that type of deep cut, it would have bent about 0.5"

Folks all of the credit goes to our guru issac winfred - he gave me the toolpath to machine this.

yes G' the size is in inches and the material is MDF of 1 inch thick, i did not observe any bending.

the tools used were 6mm router bit for z-clearance and 3mm ball nose for final clean finish

thank God I did not have any power cuts while doing this

there is no sanding done to this.

well here I can charge a max of Indian rupee 1500 for this, @50 per dollar thats like 30usd
