Where can one get a clock module (red LED) . . . . . .
Any know of an off-the-shelf, red LED clock module than can be used in an application like this?:

The price might be more than you would like but some of these kits might work

Yikes! I can't believe the prices on those clock kits...
What about stealing the guts out of an off-the-shelf clock like this?: http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=3540508 |

I have a clock at my bedtable that is not radio, just clock and beep alarm, should fit pretty well in a wooden shell like that one. Brand westclox, similar to this one: http://ep.yimg.com/ip/I/gadgetbargains_2056_31546247
BTW, Im kinda addicted to DX, bought a fair share of stuff there, mostly flashlight & flashlight DIY related (I build flashlights as a hobby) |

Yes DX is a really neat company. Have purchased from them in the past and always was satisfied for what I paid.
