The easy part is done in Tennessee!

I started this build a few months ago. It's not a MechMate per say, but I incorporated a lot of MechMate concepts into the build. I used materials I had laying around the farm for the framing and just engineered the build around those materials. The machine capacity is 5'x20' with a 5'x10' vertical table on one side. I will be using this cnc to surface and tongue and groove oak slabs (60"x96"x2-1/2") that I'm using for flooring in my log cabin. I will also be machining two sets of heavy timber stair stringers (4"x14"x18') and all the cabinets for the cabin. I bought a 7.5KW Air Cooled Spindle and VFD, 4 STEPPERONLINE Nema34 12Nm Closed Loop Stepper Servo Motor Hybrid Driver Kit, 4 Nema 34 Planetary Gearbox Speed Reducer Gear Head 5:1 and a DDCS-EXPERT+MPG offline controller. Now the hard part of figuring out how to run the controller begins.
