Next to the E-stop switches on each axis, there are green and yellow push button switches. What are they for? Sorry for the rookie question, but I have never used a CNC machine this large or complex.

Why not tilt the table saw blade at 45 degrees and use the existing rip fence? There would be no noticable wear on the metal cutting disc, no setup, and the resulting cut would be flat.

MechMate vs. ShopBot

I'm not sure if I am going to build one of these machines yet. Shopbot is another option. I'm concerned about the lack of professional tech support.
