I am asking becoz I am using other material sometimes there is gap, which can be filled with putty or putty may be used as inlay material.

I also use same method as Nils and Kobus, note down line # or find out which segment was being cut in mach .While restarting run from few lines back.

If you are using these steppers, then these are only about 300 oz-in (2.5V-4.6A).
HSS bits even doesn't work on MDF, no match for carbide. I am using all carbide bits.
