I agree with Gerald, Wadkin was known for making really strong traditional machines, am not aware of them ever doing anything electronically controlled. They went bust before the upswing in NC...

That chair frame has to be split at the bottom with a bandsaw or hand saw, then its just a bit of twisting and cussing to get it together - enjoy :)

ps there needs to be two rebates at the bottom...
