Thanks JR. Any chance of remembering the XY Accels when you had it direct-driven? My guess is around 20 . . . . . which would be equivalent of the metric 500, like ours. A car can accelerate faster...

(Don't worry about your gear ratios and pinion teeth - that can be deduced from the settings)

Inch and millimeter people will have completely different settings . . . .

Our two machines are set millimeters, both are direct drive. The X,Y axis settings are:

Steps per mm: 26.526...
