I got pissed off with the limited I/O points &...

I got pissed off with the limited I/O points & low field voltage on parallel port.
Now playing with MESA 5i25 FPGA card with a 7i76 daughter board. Apart from all the required points for 5 axis...

You don't need to know how the limit switch works to build a Mechmate :D
All you need are 70% of the material... & 95% is even more then what I have on 2 running Mechmates.....

Yes, it came with the cable attached directly to the sensor, no connector in between.

Pablo, it will take some time for me to install the sensors, as I'd just made dust, my priorities list are as such,
1) setting the axis & spindle square,
2) learning CAM
3) proxi switches....

They normally arrive within 1 week. Anyway, I'm not in the US ;)

They also have some with 2mm range, same V & Dia.

John, from my experience, electronics part will either fail in the first 5min or last the perceived life...

Francis, I'm in the learning process too, I treat the proximity switch as a switch & they need a DC voltage to work. The proximity switch don't "send" signal but the BOB input port "detect" a ON (1)...
