I wonder if I could 3D print the big pulley ... I cannot figure how much force there is on the rotary axis, the PLA of the 3D priner is very strong but it's not metal ... is driven...

I think it's not so easy to find a big pulley ... but if you find it yes is possible
Anybody knows Harmonic Drives ? are a possible solution ?

Somewere somebody told that you can't use microstepping for the rotary 4th axis because it will not give a precise 360° ..... so you absolutely need reduction and more than the usual 4:1 .... I have...
