I do like the minimal complexity of the setup and I suppose if it works don't change it.

AIR in AIR out - analysing the air flow at the collection point

Removing the dust from the cut and cut area seems to rely on the material laying in suspension in the air mass within the curtained foot print and that air mass being extracted. What I find "strange"...
