Hi Laodie,
Nice to see an Asian as a new member with the ambition to built a MechMate !
Indeed, we will never thank Gerald enough for his generosity.
I’m looking forward to see your progress and photos of your region ;).
Good luck :)

Hi LAODIE, welcome!

I cannot read half the characters you wrote, and I see your country is Colombia. Does everyone else see this:

This could get interesting! :)

Gerald,

No, I see real Chinese symbols. I assume that the Chinese characters say the same thing as the English. But... I don't actually know that.

Gerald,
I saw something very close to what you posted. I believe he may have used a translator and the characters you dont see are what the translator worked off of. :)

Welcome to Laodie. Hope you keep us informed on your build.

I saw actual Chinese characters. Interesting indeed !

If your using Windows XP or similar, you may have to go to Microsoft.com and download the additional foreign language packages. On install, you are "sometimes" asked which languages you want.
Good luck.

Sorry, but 230MB of harddrive is not going to make me understand any of it. Photos are universal - we will have to talk via photos! :)

Just looked at this post...
I saw the chinese characters, along with the english, but at the top right, instead of Colombia, mine read:

Daqing in Heilongjiang
China
