Control box design, positive pressure

Any opinions on this setup,
control box is 28" x 28"
Using the positive pressure style, and with the "heat rises" theory.
I would put filters on the bottom of the box (outside), with fans drawing air in.
An exhaust hole on the top (covered to avoid dust).
My thought was to locate the drives near the bottom (again, assuming this will be the coolest place in the box).
With the drives placed on an aluminum heat sink (with risers to promote air flow all around them) , does anyone also use heat sink grease?
I also thought that the PS should be towards the bottom as the next potentially "hot" item.
I am planning to wall mount the box and having the CPU in a separate box.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

I have the finned heat sink on the side of my control box, with the Geckos mounted on it.
No cooling fan whatsoever.
I personally think a vented box in any fashion is overkill.
My machine ran fine in 100+ degree summer heat, and last time I opened it, it was as clean as the day I closed it.

I have heat sinks and think that is the best approach.

Thanks Darren and Mike.
Mike is your heat sink finned also...is that needed, or would 1/4" aluminum plate work? Also I would think heat sink grease would be a good idea...can't think of a down side?

I believe Mike sells a nice finned heatsink.

I have a piece of aluminum that the geckos sit on and a fan below them in a sealed box. I have had no problems with heat and no dust is getting in.

I have a 1/4 piece of aluminum as well with no outside air. Box is as clean as the day I sealed it up with no problems at all.

Thank you for the feedback. Sounds like this is an area I don't need to put the extra effort, time and money into.
As always, I appreciate everyone's help on the forum!
More questions to come :D
