Loren,
I can only give some very basic help. You should get help with any electrical wiring that you don't understand perfectly. Mis-wiring can be fatal to you or to your equipment!

I don't have a PMDX-131, and I haven't throughly studied the on-line manual so USE MY SUGGESTIONS AS A STARTING POINT ONLY.

- Connecting the power supply to AC:
You're on your own here. Your power supply should have a diagram that tells you how to connect the transformer to AC.

- Connecting the power supply DC outputs to the PMDX-131: (Be certain that the voltage is between 24VDC and 80VDC)
The POS (+) connection from the power supply goes to PMDX-131 pin J1-1. This line is fused on the PMDX-131 for each G202 motor.
The NEG (-) connection from the power supply goes to PMDX-131 pin J1-2.

- Connecting the stepper motor's wires to the G202:
Half-coil (unipolar) - CW rotation
Black to G202 Phase A (TERM 3)
Yellow to G202 Phase /A (TERM 4)
Green not used (put a wire nut on the Green to keep it from touching metal).

Red to G202 Phase B (TERM 5)
White to G202 Phase /B (TERM 6)
Blue not used (put a wire nut on the Blue to keep it from touching metal)

Full-coil (bipolar series) - CW rotation
Black to G202 Phase A (TERM 3)
Green to G202 Phase /A (TERM 4)
Yellow not used (put a wire nut on the Yellow to keep it from touching metal)

Red to G202 Phase B (TERM 5)
Blue to G202 Phase /B (TERM 6)
White not used (put a wire nut on the White to keep it from touching metal)

See the photo in this post If you have 110V supply the 2 blacks are tied to each other and the 2 reds are tied to each other.

You don't need the fuses shown above the rightmost gecko - your PMDX131 already has fuses.

Ok, I had them in place (the fuses) just to be safe but they can go.

The Transformer has a wiring diagram for pluging into the wall so I'm ok on that part, it was the power from the ANTEK to the PMDX and the Geckos that haulted progress.

There really isn't any clear instructions for wiring all of these components. If a wire diagram was "suggested/posted" that would be very helpful.

Everything seems to be comming along ok,thanks for info.

Hello Everyone,

I have just received a partial shipment of hardend rails and let me say that they are perfect.

The bearings fit perfect on top of the rails and there is very little mill mark on the bearing contact surface of the groove.

It appears that they only hardend the top portion of the rail so drilling should not be that bad. I will post some pics later.

Dealing with Superior Bearing has been a great experience.

The drilling of the rails was offered to me as an option for an additional price.
I have chosen to drill them myself since I have a drill press, I will let you know if I have any problems.
I plan on drilling this weekend and will be using 1/4" 20 button head cap screws to fasten the angle iron to allow for clearance issues.


The close-up pic is the flat side (no notch)and the scratches are very superficial.
The scratches showed up as a reflection from the florescent light in my garage.
Those scratches are really nothing.
You can see where the top portion of the rail was heat treated by the dark witess line.

I will post more pics as I continue.
