MechMate or ShopBot plans being sold on e-bay?
 

Somebody informed me by mail of:

That is a ShopBot photo, and the concern is that "plans" are from MechMate. I won't be taking more action other than posting here about it. If you are familiar with e-bay and/or ShopBot you might want to leave the "seller" some ratings, or tell ShopBot what is going on. This won't spoil my day :)

This is terrible. The number of pages he quotes exactly matches the last revision. :(

How low can you go...
The seller of those plans are definetly at a very low point...

I hope that shopbot will take action against the seller if someone happens to telle them about it.

But in essence, you should take action, you do in some way have sellers right to those plans...

I have left messages for both shopbot and ebay. Lets see if they do anything. :)

I can't log into ebay from work but when I get home I will be sure to send ebay a msg that somebody is selling plans that they dont have a right to.

I see from his feedback that someone else who bought a different one of his plans, mentions that the plans he received were from elsewhere on the web. Looks like he just finds info on the web and then sells it to whoever will buy it. :(

Yes indeed it looks like he has bought a set of plans for a small gas turbine engine, and are selling this at a high rate...

It's not the right way to go when you get information at a low price...

However, I see the Gas turbine is under copyright law, so he could get a lawsuit on his back for selling the plans...

I hope they stop his missuse of Ebay soon.

It won't be worth the time and money to take action against this bloke. Let's just ignore and move forward.
