Hello,
I am trying to cut a logo for a client that doesn't have a vectorized file. I am looking for some help in trying to identify or locate a certain font. Specifically I am cutting the green C. Can anyone offer any help or advice? Tried to trace the bitmap and just can't get it to look right. Thanks, Justin |

Justin;
Are you looking for the font for "COLORADO CREATIONS"? if so thats called "COPPERPLATE GOTHIC" Light. |
Miguel,
Hi thanks but I am looking for the green CC part, The cursive C's in green? Thanks, Justin |
I'm not sure exactly which font that is, but here are two websites to help you figure it out:
http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ http://www.identifont.com/ |
Thanks Michel,
I am on those sites right now with little success. |
Posted the question on My Fonts forum.

Justin;
I think its called Edwardian Script ITC :).. But looks like the designer cut out the stroke over the C itself.. It's a perfect match otherwise.. |
Thanks Miguel! I'll check it out.

Yes, perfect! Thanks!

you could also try importing it(The complete logo-bit map- svg-file ect.) into a program called inkscape(it's free-search the web) and edit it the way you want it to look and save it as eps file and then bring it into your cam program to cut the file, this is the way i do my cutting using cut 2d to make clocks using different types of files ( bmp- svg ) ect hope this helps

Thanks Paulds,
I have used Inkscape a couple times before, seams like a good program amazing what free programs can do if you just learn them. |
