Very Nice, more info on finishing too! :)

lunaj76 Fri 17 July 2009 21:06

4 min rough pass w 1/4" ball nose, 26 min finishing pass w 1/8" ball nose. I was not contracted to do the finishing so I did not sand them. I only have these back because they want more and I need to match them up with the new ones. I think I did something like 60ipm on the rough and 50ipm on the finish.

is it MDF ? mélamine ?

lunaj76 Fri 15 July 2011 21:32

It is particle board with Laminate 2 sides. I had the laminate laid up by a local company here.

David Bryant Sun 17 July 2011 19:39

Hi Justin
Did you carve a curve into both sides of the skateboards? What was the cutting sequence.
Thanks
David

lunaj76 Wed 20 July 2011 21:46

Hi David,

Are you talking about top and bottom curve? These boards are just flat. I will be doing some boards that will be laminated into a curve. That will be down the road.

Justin
