Limit switch inputs
Hi Gerald,
Do the limit switches feed into the breakout board spare inputs, and are they used in the mach 3 program? Anton |
Yes, the limit switches are all in series with each other and only use one input into the breakout board for Mach to use.

The proximity wiring thread is here. for reference.

Hi Gerald,
Please can you send me the complete Electrical & Electronic Plan of MechMate Machine. |
http://www.mechmate.com/forums/showt...00&postcount=1
Drawings are here. Details will need to be researched in the forum. |
Thank you MetalHead
I need just the complete & Electrical & Electronic Plan The drawing in : Part 1.pdf (2.22 MB, 16859 views) Part 2.pdf (2.15 MB, 12115 views) Part 3.pdf (2.47 MB, 11683 views) Part 4.pdf (1.76 MB, 10451 views) Part 5.pdf (1.60 MB, 11039 views) are not complete, I'm new in electrical |
You need to draw your own complete & Electrical & Electronic Plan based on the motors, drives, "breakout card", power supply that you will select. Each of those components have their own requirements from their manufacturers - it will help you if you select components with good clear instructions.
|
Thank Gerald,
Can you send me the global Plan (or the drawing example) that explain principal Control Systems of the machine ? |
I am going to send nothing to you. You need to spend a lot more time reading the stuff already here on this web site.
|
Ok Gerald

There is so much valuable information here on electrical stuff/controllers/geckos/BOBs. I've been here quite awhile and I'm still finding threads I haven't read yet. Best bet is to read read read and then read some more. If you see something or a term you don't understand or why something was done one way electrically the best bet is to google it, look it up and get a full understanding before doing anything. A clear concise plan can go a long way, and you should feel confident before you land a single wire.

I found this document on estop for PMDX 125 board and spindle. Neat circuit diagram.
