I have never been asked that question by the 5 different companies that do this work for us. Tell them you want their normal quality and have a look at their samples.

Normally they will do cutting within 1/10 of a mm, and bending will be almost dead on, on angles.

I think You can ask for best tolerance they have. if the same price.

Is possible 0.1mm is normal for laser.

The basic design of the MM will allow the laser cutting to be off by more than 0.1mm, maybe even 0.5mm is okay. Therefore, do not ask for any special work at higher prices. Just their normal work, at normal prices should be fine.

When I have a job for my lasercuter, I print out a drawing and a place a circle arround the important tollerances in the shop. so he can see what I want. My motorplates were cut inlucing the holes for mounting the bearings. the only thing I had to rework was the place were the laser starts and ended cutting. also the hole was a little tappered. so depending on which site I had to mount the bearing, I had to adjust a little bit. this took only a couple of minuts. I could mound the bearings by pushing them in by hand !!:D
