Its a dome for a dance floor. South African version of "burning man" in the Karoo (SA desert), i think its called "africa burns". its a film company that is building it. We helped them last year as well.

metal brackets and bolts hold the main 18mm structure together. its a flat pack dome!

I bet it would be sad to see your work go up in smoke .
Like I was sad to see our famous dome 20 story high burn in few minutes. Lukily no one was in at the time of the accident

Gerald you are ever good at finding pictures . I saw it burnt from the highway sad day shivers ouff
I hope they do not build these from the same material anymore ,peoples would never have time to get out .Just like lighting up a ping pong ball
I know that Sean is to young for the event ;) but you Gerald have you bought your tickets yet for Africa Burns .Remenber no climbing the dome Mad Max Gerald
