My machine has been fully functional for a couple of days but due to stupidity on my part I was hunting for a fault that was just human error. I was running the spindle backwards. It did cut just not very well.

I will probably get around to the logo after Christmas. I still have a few minor things to finish, I still need to glue down the spoilboard and surface it. My 12v estop circuit is working but I still need to finish the pause and resume buttons once I have figured out how to get them working in LinuxCNC.
