Hi All,

Vectrics Aspire 4.0 has been released, I paid and got the upgrade from 3.5 to 4.0 now to find some time to play with it.
Cannot fault Aspire since purchasing it a couple of years ago, so easy !!

Cheers
Tony.

I received my copy about mid day Thursday and have been playing with it and a lot of changes have been made. I like what I have seen, it may take some time to learn the changes. It seems to have a lot more functions. :)

I have the download link but figured I'd wait til this evening to download it, when the frenzy has passed, and I'm not as rushed either.

Darren, you may have a good plan. I was setting at the computer when the e-mail first came out and I tried to down load the software then. Well let’s just say I think the speeds coming out of the servers where slower then dial up. I waited a few more hours and tried it again and it was still slower but most of the craziness had past.

Hi All,

There was some initial issues with the release but that was overcome on the day by the guys at Vectric. I downloaded and updated on Saturday without any issues. It was painless and very quick.:D

Cheers
Tony.

I am one of the people that have not received an email to be able to upgrade. I went to the Users Group Meeting and they have added additional features since that meeting.

On the forum some people are documenting some problems they are having with the software. There may be some bugs. This is normal when you release a version with so many changes.

It is a huge release for the price it cost.

Vectric software is worth much more than what they charge us.

It always seems I am just a few months beyond getting the upgrades for free ..... :(

It does not have any thing to do with months. If you paid last time, most likely you next upgrade is free. If you any any questions, contact sales or support at vectric. But check to see if you paid last time.

I got a free upgrade for 3.5 and this time I had to pay.

I down loaded the new version, I have not installed.

Yes, it does. You get free upgrades for 1 year. But they actually extended the 1 year a little for this release, because major changes late in beta testing pushed back the release date.
