Hi i needs of a suggestion:
1) electric power connects to the inverter
2) inverter is connects to the spindle
answer: where is connects the inverter for change the speed of the engine?
Can Mach3 change the speed of the spindle through the inverter
what is the correct connection to PMDX 122 and inverter?

The PMDX122 can not control the speed of the spindle.

The PMDX 122 does not offer this, but the PMDX-106 WITH A PMDX-125, PMDX-131, or PMDX-132 using 10 pin ribbon cable (available separately) will give you speed control over spindle with the appropriate I/O. This is a 2 card combination.

Actually, I think you can use the PMDX-106 with a PMDX-122 (and discrete wiring), or with the 10 pin ribbon cable to the 125,131,132. The PMDX-107 requires the 10 pin cable, and thus only works with the 125,131,132. At least if I'm reading the docs correctly.

It's worth noting that just an optoisolator, a couple of resistors, and a capacitor can be used to take any single pin output from a BOB and make it into a speed control for an inverter. That's if you are comfortable cobbling up a quick handwired circuit board.

Brad,
...and quietly noting that is exactly what I did on the 4th channel on the test bench with another multi-axis project. It didn't take long - but was worth it.

Note:
Brad, you would have liked it...it was for an x/y translating wagon for a show with a rotating car on top that I needed VFD speed control over. Some quick hackery for a one-off show. Theater stuff 101!
